A SOLUTION THAT GIVES ME HOPE

The climate crisis is affecting all life on earth. You don’t have to be a scientist to understand—ask a farmer, fisherman, airplane pilot, building engineer… anyone who works closely with nature. From severe storms and floods to unprecedented droughts and wildfires, they can tell you that weather patterns are destabilizing at a terrifying pace!

But each one of us can make a difference. We can all be part of the solution. By protecting, restoring, and planting trees, we can help save our climate while creating a better world for all living creatures.

So please join our Trees for Jane Campaign. We have no time to lose. Let’s create a sustainable world for generations to come. Let’s give our planet a new reason for hope!

Jane Goodall's vision for the world

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Forests are complex living systems that help balance our climate and keep our planet healthy. They remove carbon dioxide from the air. They produce the oxygen we breathe. They provide food, water, shelter, medical cures, and more. But forests are being destroyed at a breathtaking acre per second.

If we protect existing trees and forests and restore lost forests, they can remove up to one-third of the excess carbon dioxide that threatens our climate. One-third—that’s a big number!

Saving forests and planting trees buys us a little more time as we push to accelerate the transition from fossil fuels to cleaner energy and implement other beneficial changes to solve the climate crisis.

It won’t be easy, but the good news is that established organizations are already partnering with forest communities all over the world to do this vital work—and with your support, they can do more.

Join Jane by supporting these trusted organizations, or by planting and nurturing your own tree!
